About the Sponsor
The scholarship is sponsored by the Jaimeson Jones Memorial Foundation.
In his honor and memory, the family has established the Jaimeson Jones Memorial Scholarship, whose dual missions are:
Saving young men's lives by educating about testicular cancer.
Providing scholarships to students whose sibling has or has had cancer.
Jaimeson died on October 7, 2010 at the age of 20. He never got the chance to finish college, but it was important to him that his sisters be able to, and to help with that, he bequeathed all of his money to them toward that end. Jaimeson strongly felt that good health care and an outstanding college education should be accessible to all. That is the inspiration behind this scholarship.
